Francisco Goya has always been my admired artist and printmaker. I'm a hatching freak, and seeing all the hatching work this old man did on a cooper plate is pleasing. I'm thrilled to be able to do a project about him finally. This booklet will feature all four of Francisco Jose de Goya’s major etching series, offering a window into the artist’s mastery of printmaking and a haunting reflection of Spanish society during a time full of upheaval and change.
